With the dry start to 2007, crop striping was widespread amongst growers who were unaware of the need for professional calibration. Fortunately for many, when the problem became obvious, their agronomist recommended SCS and we were able to take remedial action to reduce or eliminate the effects of striping – even at this stage in the season. From now on these agronomists will certainly be recommending testing to their clients before any spreading takes place!
